Spotted this lovely little interactive mural on my stroll through Dimond Park the other day. For those who haven’t been, this park is a real treasure and now one of my newest frequent destinations in this new neighborhood I’m discovering…
Featuring a recreation center, tennis courts, the Lions Pool, gorgeous picnic & play areas shaded under old growth oaks and redwoods, and hidden trails that lead along Sausal Creek up through 12 acres of restored canyon watershed, Dimond Park is an incredible neighborhood resource. More on the creek & canyon tomorrow…

So all the Golden Eagles have been hanging out at Sausal Creek. Now I know.
Those elusive Golden Eagles! I’ve actually been doing some research on this and according to a birding guide put together by the Friends of Sausal Creek (more on them tomorrow), the golden eagles are “casual” visitors rather than residents in the area. Which I guess means they just stop by from time to time for a beer…
Cool pics… we live near Dimond Park and use the playground all the time we also take our two and half year old daughter to the Lion pool for swimming lessons. Dimond Park is a *GREAT* resource!
I like that you made it into the first photo! :—,)*
