Sweet Parking Job

Ok, so this photo has nothing to do with art.  It wasn’t Art Murmur and I wasn’t on my way to a cool creative performance happening or a show at the Fox.  I was just out walking around town. And I think it’s hilarious. And I wanted to give a little heads up that I do have some art-related posts headed your way shortly, about which I am very excited.  Yay!  see below…

Later this week I’ll be not only featuring pics of the new West Oakland San Pablo mural, which is awesome, but also my first artist interview in over a year (yikes). Last one was the Few & Far Mural Project back in June of 2011. Where oh where has the time gone?!?

    Looking forward to seeing your coverage of the new San Pablo Ave. mural. You may have seen my post about it, or heard about the unfortunate string of robberies of media folks around it.

      I hadn’t seen your post (I am sadly out of touch with most blogs these days, including my own – but I’m working hard towards getting back into the groove) but I just checked it out and I love all the in-process shots. I’ll link to you! 😉

      I did hear about the unfortunate robberies at gunpoint. I am happy to report that I too was able to snap some shots without being robbed! That’s one thing I definitely don’t miss about West Oakland. Picking up other peoples feces is another. 😉
